Our Sea and Climate change.

It is without doubt the Malaysia do depends on the sea as great deal of protein source and also tourism. However, as our climate continuously declining, our beloved sea may be affected badly. According to Australia, the need of fisheries will doubled by 2050s, however by then our sea will be not able to provide us with the needed resources as a result of climate change as how things are right now.

Global warming has resulted in the rising of sea level, more frequent occurrences of tropical cyclone and warming of sea surface. In addition, seal absorbs more carbon dioxide within the atmosphere, with continuous worsening of our green-house effects, it resulted in acidification of our sea. To make it worse, we also got cases like destruction of habitat, sea pollution and overfishing. Our sea, the Indo-Pacific region may not able to maintain its marine ecosystem by time, and perhaps become more hazardous for human interaction in future.
